Sims Vista Market & Food Centre was constructed in 1976 to serve residents around Sims Drive, starting out as a straightforward wet market for fresh produce and seafood. Over the decades it grew into a full-fledged food centre and a genuine community hub — a place to shop, socialise, and eat, for locals and visitors alike. A 2006 upgrade modernised its facilities, and a further facelift in 2021 kept it current, while the complex itself expanded into over 70 stalls spanning local favourites and humble neighbourhood specialties.
Built in 1976 as a simple wet market for Sims Drive residents, this Geylang Serai hawker centre has grown into a 70-stall neighbourhood favourite.
