Yuhua Village grew up alongside some of Jurong's earliest public housing, with blocks dating back to the early 1980s. Its market and food centre — combining a wet market with cooked food stalls under one roof — has long been the neighbourhood's social hub, where residents shop and catch up with neighbours as much as they eat. Eng Kee Noodle House has been serving wanton noodles here since 1973, while Fei Fei Roasted Noodles has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand for its smoky char siew and roast duck — drawing visitors well beyond Yuhua itself.
Yuhua is one of Jurong's oldest estates, its blocks dating back to the early 1980s. The market at its heart is still a Michelin-recognised local favourite.
